Job Description:

We are looking for Advanced/ Senior Technicians with GE troubleshooting/site support experience. Do you have what it takes to join our team? As a Service Technician at FairWind, you will join our GE Service Team delivering safe, high-quality troubleshooting and site support services to our clients, helping them bring clean energy to North America.

Requirements: Please provide a copy of your certifications.

Wind Electrical Technician Level II

• GE Converter Certification

Wind Advanced Electrical Technician

• • 1600 hours as Wind Electrical Technician and Completed pitch, advanced trouble shooting, SCADA/WFMS
• High-School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using basic power tools.
• Drug screening.
• Valid driver's license. No DWI/DUI/OUI in the last 5 years.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb up to 300 ft. twice daily.
• Basic wind technician certificates (Tower Rescue, CPR, First Aid, AED, OSHA 10, Competent Climber, Confined Space, Working at Heights, NFPA 70, LOTO).
• Current certificates from major turbine manufacturers and GWO certificates highly desirable.
• Responsible and able to work in a team, as well as alone.
• Reliability and a positive approach towards work and life
• Ability to work under difficult and inconvenient conditions.

• Ability to travel 100% .
• Ready to start ASAP.

Job Duties:

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and operation of wind turbines.
• Tasks will be performed either on the ground or at heights.
• Attend regular on-site safety meetings.
• Safely operate company assigned fleet vehicles.
• Complete and submit required paperwork (documentation, timesheets, service reports, etc.) Attend on-the-job training with on-site personnel.
• 100% travel required.
• Exhibit high standards of safety and quality.
